Of Toys and Books Toys Hot Toys are making two more Aliens-related 1:6 scale models: A poseable Alien Warrior and Power Loader. Alien: http://www.sideshowtoy.com/behindtheshow/?page_id=2631 Power Loader: http://www.sideshowtoy.com/behindtheshow/?page_id=2630 Books The cover art for the upcoming (and as of yet officially unannounced) Aliens novel, Aliens: Steel Egg, has been released, done by Stephen Youll: http://www.stephenyoull.com/New63.html Personally, a bit annoyed they're still going with the Alien Resurrection style of Alien, but it's an excellent piece of art work. Steel Egg, by the way, is written by John Shirley, who (as is my understanding) wrote Predator: Forever Midnight. The story will be a prequel to Alien, about people finding a ship with Alien eggs in orbit around one of the planets in the solar system. Thanks to AvPGalaxy for the news. |
